Detailed Product Description
At given temperature pressure and the presence of a special catalyst, methanol reacts with water to form about 75%H2 and 25%CO2, with a little CO and CH4. The transformed gas is then processed for heat recovery, cooling and purification. The remaining methanol and water are recycled back to the feed system. The treated gas is further purified with PSA process to separate product hydrogen. The impurities, CO, CH4 and CO2 are released from PSA unit during the regeneration process.
